hey there - just a quick one on pinned posts, should they pin to the homefeed pre authentication?

Hey @rhymes - when you pin a post, should it pin at the top of the homefeed for everyone regardless of whether they are logged in or not?

Thanks to Rhymes, I think I can answer this one! The RFC here doesn't show any distinction in behaviour between logged in or not logged in users. Are you experiencing a difference?

Heya @ellativity - yes - I have 3 articles pinned across each of my Forems but they only show at the top when I am logged in.

And this is the case for every Forem? I think I'm only signed up to FlowState so could only test it on there (and I can confirm that I experienced the same thing).

It was not visible when I viewed your Forems logged out, but this is a confirmed bug 🪲 so a PR is in process to ensure it is in future. 🎉

It should be ready now! We merged and deployed github.com/forem/forem/pull/14219 both on DEV and on the Forem Fleet. You will have to update to the latest main for self hosted Forems!
