Great question! I like how we've been focused on providing push notifications for things that generally require action from the user. It's good that folks can opt to be notified by push notification for both @mentions and when someone replies to them in a comment thread because both of these instances often require a response.
Similarly, could we let author opt in for push notifications if someone comments on their posts? If this is all covered by "Send me a push notification when someone replies to me in a comment thread" then just lemme know!
@michaeltharrington Exactly: the "Send me a push notification when someone replies to me in a comment thread" option will let an article author know when someone comments on their article as those top level comments are considered "replies"!
