Hey @maartengoddijn 👋

I have brought up your first question before on here and we've had some comments regarding it which may interest you. I am not sure if there is an update coming soon to make this change.

For your second question, if a user does not fill out those fields they do not show up on your public profile. I do agree that providing options to customize those fields would be beneficial for different communities to make good use of them.

And for your third question, I also agree that maybe emojis should not be forced. I would like to see what that actually looks like, I think from a design perspective the links might look boring/dull without the emojis, but again maybe that should be an option that admins can choose rather than it being forced.

Hi Ildi!

First of all, thank you for sharing the link to what you've discussed about the subject before! Hopefully they are in another phase now. I will also leave a comment there.

Second point: I understand what you say and have noticed this before. However, it doesn't look good if the users themselves are looking in their profile settings, trying to fill them in and then they see these fields which are just very irrelevant to them. And that this happens not only to one user or a few, but to a whole community.

Third point: Exactly my point 👍

I see what you mean here. Admins should have the option to turn off any field that they know users of their community will not be using. I agree that this is not a good experience for users and might be confusing.
