Would be cool if you could give individual users or a specific set list of users permission to post.

I can see a scenario where users of my Forem would first have to make 30 comments, they get a badge, and also get permission to make posts for earning this badge. This can be done manually right now but would be nice if permission to post was automatically give to user once they earn the badge.
Indeed. This would be something further down the road, but I imagine when we get the infrastructure ready, maybe we could consider opening up a few APIs so this type of scenarios could be wired as desired.
